Representative Teams
The St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School senior girls’ softball team produced an outstanding performance at the SSAV Premier Schools Softball Competition at the Knox Baseball club yesterday. Competing against some of the strongest softball programs in Victoria, St Paul’s finished the day in third place – only behind St Catherines (GSV) and Haileybury (APS).

STP Game 1 – Knockout vs Braemar College (ICCES)
St Paul’s (14) defeated Braemar College (6). The team’s batting and fielding were outstanding throughout the match, setting the tone for the remainder of the tournament.
STP Game 2 – Semi-Final vs St Catherines (APS)
St Paul’s (8) lost to eventual winners St Catherines (10). The girls battled hard in an exciting game but narrowly went down in one of the matches of the day.
STP Game 3 – Third Spot Playoff vs Aquinas College

The team responded brilliantly in the third-place playoff to secure an excellent third- place finish overall. All players made significant contributions throughout the tournament. The team should be extremely proud of their efforts, commitment and sportsmanship across the day. Their performance against highly regarded opposition highlights the exciting future of softball at St Paul’s Anglican Grammar School and SEISA.
